Wow, where has the time gone? I find it hard to believe that we’re now about a month away from the annual tradition of E3!
I won’t lie, I’m dreadfully unprepared. As such, I need a few days to collect my thoughts, so my E3 wishlist/prediction features will be starting later this week. My plan is to create at least three of these things: Xbox, Nintendo, and Third Party. If you’ve been with me a while, you may be asking where that fourth one is.
I have not decided if I’m going to be doing a Sony wishlist/prediction post. The obvious reason is that the company announced that it was ducking out of E3 this year and focusing on alternative ways to engage with the community. Plus, they seem to be sort of in a holding pattern due to the imminent arrival of their next gen console, likely arriving next year. They still have a bunch of announced games (Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Last of Us 2) that are likely going to be cross-gen, so I don’t know what else I can really predict for them.
Still, there are things I would like to see from them, obviously not at E3 but perhaps as we head into the next generation. So I may still write something up for them, it just won’t look like the other 3 since Sony isn’t going to be active as they usually are in June. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a couple of announcements during that week however.
The reveal season is upon us already as we’ve already gotten a brief taste of what’s to come with Borderlands 3 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to see the future of gaming next month.
What are you hoping to see at this years show? Let me know below in the comments.
