As we continue the slow march towards the Summer months and E3 2019, I have to admit to you all that the release schedule is starting to thin out a bit. While that’s likely a good thing for those of you still trying to catch up from the past couple of months, it doesn’t make for exciting Now Arriving posts. Still, there are more than a few things to check out this month.
Let’s have a look.
For many, the big name game this month comes from Bethesda and id Software. Rage 2 looks to fix the many issues that arose from its predecessor while retaining the elements that made it stand out like the fantastic visuals. Will it succeed? While I can’t answer that, I’d say this April Fools reveal gives me plenty of hope.
Okay, I’m going to level with you guys, May 2019 may be the time to catch up on your backlog. There are a few more games coming out this month including a lot of remasters, VR games, and collections but if you’re in the market for big names, you may be disappointed. Read on ahead for a look at the full April release schedule. Enjoy!

Rage 2 and Observation are at the top of my list this month! How about you?
Trails of Cold Steel, Atalier Lulua and Lapis x Labyrinth all look decent too.
Honestly, I’m using May for Rage 2 and then catching up on my backlog. That’s my current plan anyway which is always subject to change.
Good plan. I’m getting Rage 2 for certain, but the others will likely end up on my “Games To Play Someday” list. Stupid thing just keeps getting longer and longer too. There’s just too many good games!
I know what you mean. I can never seem to trim down my backlog and “want” list.
