Saturday Video Round Up: End of Year Odds and Ends Edition

Okay, lets address the elephant in the room right here and right now. Yes, I know what I told you before. You’re probably wondering why you’re now reading a brand new Video Round Up post.

Well, the short answer is, I was surprised by the amount of trailers that have arrived outside of an awards show. Obviously with the holiday taking place last week, the new content slowed to a trickle, but in my opinion there has been more than enough over the past two weeks to craft a new one. So, think of this as a bonus.

As we head into December, I imagine new video content like this is pretty much coming to a stop, especially if previous years are any indication. So as of now, this is more than likely, probably, I’m fairly sure, the last Video Round Up of 2016. Miss anything from The Game Awards the other night? Catch up with all the new trailers and announcements here.

So with that bit of housekeeping out of the way, here’s a small taste of what awaits you this week.

Like I mentioned, I’ve curated a good chunk of video content from the past couple of weeks so there’s a lot of good stuff. The new DLC for Uncharted 4 and Star Wars Battlefront is represented below along with the new Year 2 trailer for Rainbow Six Siege as well.

I’ve also got new videos for Watch_Dogs 2, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Final Fantasy XV, and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

  1. Ooo! Freedom of choice, my favorite phrase! haha These look fantastic, and I appreciate that No Man’s Sky is trying to win people back. Bad publicity or no, I still think this will be a game I eventually pick up and try…

Thanks for all the great roundups this year!

    • No problem, thanks for checking them out!

I agree about NO Man’s Sky. Unfortunate first few months, but hopefully the team can craft the experience into something more akin to what expectations were prior to launch. Maybe re-release it similarly to what Evolve did. No Man’s Sky 2.0 or something like that.

Lots of trailers for add-ons, remakes/remasters, and definitive editions this week. Guess that’s what would have to follow all the major announcements from the game awards. Still, it’s nice to see so many games getting continued support rather than getting abandoned after a few months.
