Well folks, we’re heading into the dreaded summer drought, so expect the release schedule to slow way down. Though with the crazy past few months we’ve been having and with E3 arriving in a couple of weeks, perhaps the slow down comes at a great time. Either way, let’s take a closer look at what’s coming in June.
Surprisingly, there are a lot more games this month than I figured, especially for you PlayStation and Nintendo fans. Kirby is making an appearance on the 3DS, Mario & Sonic are heading to Rio, and Odin Sphere is back on the PlayStation products.
While there’s a lot of smaller titles on display this month, if you’re someone looking for a mainline AAA title, the first person, free running game, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, may be for you. Or maybe you’re looking forward to building and destroying things with LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Don’t forget, E3 is coming up in a couple of weeks, giving you some insight into a few more games coming later this year and beyond.

I am pretty sure that delay is 100% confirmed at this point.
Odin Sphere is on my radar after playing the demo. It was gorgeous and a lot of fun as a beat-em-up. I never played the original release.
Yeah, it’s true…did I keep rumored? Bah, I’ll fix it.
I agree about Odin Sphere. A lot of fun and quite the looker!
Finally, the long wait for a new Mirror’s Edge is almost over!
I’m looking forward to this one! Really enjoyed the beta more so than I thought I would. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that the game looks fantastic as well.
Absolutely. The updated visuals are nice, but I really love how they’ve opened up the city and actually have you take on the role of a runner rather than immediately making Faith into a fugitive.
At first glance, it really does seem like DICE has learned from the experience of the first game.
