Congratulations, you’ve made it to Saturday once more! That means it’s time to dive into the latest and greatest video content from around the gaming industry, so kick back and crank that volume. Here’s a small sample to get us started.
A game I have been pretty excited about, Hyper Light Drifter, released a new trailer this week showing off more of that gorgeous pixel art style. The real surprise came at the end, which not only revealed a release date but it confirmed that it’s arriving way sooner than people expected: next week! Have a look at the trailer, the game looks pretty flashy and cool.
If you’re up for a challenge, Dark Souls III would like to have a word with you. Rumored to be the hardest game in the franchise to date, the latest trailer aims to show you some of the gothic style monstrosities that are waiting in the wings to smash, crush, burn, and destroy you.
I’ve also got new videos for Overwatch, Battleborn, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and so much more after the break, so come check out this week’s batch of trailers!

I like Rise of the Tomb Raider, but I think it’s kinda…I don’t know sad that they have a trailer that’s basically telling you that you can’t have the full game unless you spend an additional $30+ dollars on top of the $60 premium price tag. Credit for being honest about I guess, but still…
Yeah, I thought they were releasing the game of the year edition already. We all know that’s coming probably later this year with the PS4 release, but this? It’s kind of like a remind to folks that it exists. That’s what it felt like to me anyway. It’s too bad because the game really is excellent.
Hopefully it’ll do well on the PS4. It may not be doing anything “innovative” but it’s more of the new brand of Tomb Raider, and that’s definitely not a bad thing.
My fear is that it’s going to get lost in the holiday shuffle and then Square Enix is going to drop it. Seems like Microsoft came in to save this one considering that SE reported the first one as disappointing sales wise.
Yeah, though I still think being disappointed with selling 5 million units is just incredibly stupid.
Hopefully it’ll all time right and it’ll outperform expectations.
