Saturday Video Round Up: November 15 – 21

With many of the big AAA titles having been released already, it wouldn’t surprise me to see things slow down just a bit until we hit the end of the month. With most of the major releases now behind us for 2015, Ubisoft wants to make sure you didn’t forget that Rainbow Six Siege is still on the way. To aid their marketing cause, they’ve brought on Idris Elba to help convince you to pick up with game with a pair of videos.

Halo 5 grew this week with the first of many free DLC packs called the Battle of Light and Shadow. There’s a lot of content in there including Big Team Battle, new maps, new requisitions, and more so make sure to check out the trailer for the full rundown.

Do we know if that Halo 5 add-on is paid dlc? I would be very disappointed if Big Team Battle, a basic playlist in every past Halo, was now locked locked behind an exploitive pay-wall.

    • Nope, all free from what I’ve heard. The microtransactions in the core game like Warzone have helped make the DLC add ons, especially the upcoming maps all free.

Well at least they’re serving to make the game better instead of just being pocketed. That’s nice. Still kinda disagree with having microtransactions at all though…

        • Yeah, it’s certainly a topic of debate that’s for sure, but the side benefit is that the meaningful DLC is free for all. Plus, I mean you can still utilize the microtransaction content through in game currency as well so it’s not bad IMO.
