Congratulations! You’ve made it out of the summer doldrums. While we’re still a far cry from the crazy release schedule that this fall and holiday promise us, August brings about a sense of renewed energy from the games industry.
The release schedule isn’t quite as robust as we’d like, but it’s a definite improvement over July. For those of you hungry for new content, lets have a look at some of the games that will be waiting for you on store shelves this month, shall we?
Xbox fans finally have some exclusives to look forward to as Rare’s magnum opus, Rare Replay goes on sale along with the completely remastered Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. In keeping with the Remastered theme, Dishonored presents it’s ultimate edition as well for PS4 and Xbox One owners. Also, the ever huggable John Madden returns for his 16th installment as Madden NFL 16 hits store shelves at the end of the month. Fret not, there’s a bunch of other titles coming your way this month as well!

I’ve never been one for “Definitive” editions or remasters of games I already have, but I’m thinking it might be worth getting Dishonored again for PS4. Blinking around in 60fps sounds awesome!
Yes, it really does. Plus, with such a lull in the schedule, might be a good time to dive back in.
