Did you know there’s a somewhat secret gadget that Batman can gain access to during the events of Arkham Knight? If you’re seeing a hole in your gadget menu, it’s because the Freeze Blast gadget isn’t actually given this item through normal progression like anything else. The game also doesn’t actually give you a heads up to it either so if you’re like me, you realized that this particular gadget was an actual thing due to one of the many Riddler Trophies requiring it.

While the item isn’t required during normal gameplay, you will need it if you’re looking to 100% the game and to complete one of the game’s achievements/trophies. You’ll also first gain access to this area and the tool after finishing the ACE Chemicals story mission.
