We’ve finally made it out of the doldrums of January and as we near a few major AAA releases, the trailers have started to roll out as well. Thankfully, the Video Round up is back again to bring you the best of this past week in video form. Don’t forget to crank the volume, sit back, and enjoy the best video content from the week that was. Here’s a small taste.

Once again, Mortal Kombat took center stage this week, not for any additional character reveals, but actual gameplay details. The first video shows off a pretty cool looking special collector’s edition of the game complete with a Scorpion statue imagined by Coarse. The second video details a lot of new elements to MKX including various modes that you can play as and also the new Factions Mode which is a pretty cool meta game within the core game. Check it out, I found the information to be pretty interesting.

With Sony’s first party title, The Order 1886, due out in just a couple short weeks for the PlayStation 4, have you ever wondered how the team at Ready at Dawn studios were able to achieve such intense graphical fidelity and detail? The gang put together a developer diary to explain just that and to a layman like me, it sounds pretty in depth.
