We’ve finally arrived to that dreaded month on the calendar, and no, I’m not referring to the certain holiday at the end of the month. This is the month when the flood gates open and a massive release schedule begins leading up to the holiday rush near the end of November.

It’s kind of funny to think that just a few months ago, this schedule was even more bloated with AAA releases than it is now, causing fear and panic among game critics and people who don’t have a ton of money to spend alike. Even though some of the major titles shifted out of this month into more cozy spots like November or early 2015, there’s still just a huge amount of content available this month that really should satisfy everyone. We have major titles like Alien: Isolation at the start of the month, to the Xbox One exclusive from Insomniac, Sunset Overdrive at the back. Titles like Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and even Bayonetta 2 for the WiiU make up the tasty middle part of the month.
