Ahem.
Well everyone, it should be fairly obvious at this point but it’s now July and that means the summer game drought is officially on. Typically, July is devoid of releases due to assumptions that game enthusiasts naturally tend to go on vacation or would rather spend their free time outdoors rather than inside with video games. Maybe that’s true, I don’t know but the fact remains that companies do not like releasing games in July.
So with that said, there are a couple games hitting store shelves this month but nothing to really write home about. Leading the July charge is The Last of Us Remastered for you PlayStation 4 owners. While there’s at least one thing for everyone else, if you’re an Xbox One fan, it looks like you’re going to just have to skip ahead to August. My advice? Start saving now for the release crush that awaits us in October.

Is that a new version of terraria or something? ‘Cause that’s been out on PS3 for quite awhile now. At any rate, July is looking just as bare as you would expect, thankfully we’ve got the Destiny Beta on the 17th to look forward to.
Good catch, not sure how that snuck in there. Yeah, there’s definitely no new Terraria coming out in July.
