As seems to be the tradition after trade shows, Gearbox Software and 2K Australia have released a brand new gameplay walkthrough of their upcoming shooter, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The gameplay in question has been taken from what was shown back in April at the annual Penny Arcade Expo in Boston, Massachusetts. So if you didn’t feel like waiting in that massive line or couldn’t attend the show, you’re in luck. It’s almost like you were actually there.
The video is narrated and played by Gearbox Software’s James Lopez (associate producer) and 2K Australia’s Joel Eschler (producer) as they play in co-op with Athena The Gladiator and Wilhelm The Enforcer. You’ll also get your first glimpse at the playable ClapTrap character as well. Gameplay in this video takes place entirely on the moon so you’ll be getting a great look at some new weapon types and how the oxygen system works including low gravity combat. As a fan of the franchise anyway, the Pre-Sequel does look pretty fun if not a bit familiar.
So lets meet up with James and Joel as they take to the moon to dish out some damage and find some loot.
