Now Arriving: Games of April

Happy April Fools Day! Trust me, this following list is no joke. If you’re looking for my annual “April Fools Day Recap” I’ll have that for you on Thursday so make sure to check back then. On to the April releases!

2014 chugs along into April which, in my opinion, is a bit of a down month. Still, if your in need of something to do after playing some of the AAA releases from last month, April does feature some intriguing choices.

From a pure volume standpoint, we’re getting more games this month than we did in March, but you could make the argument that April lacks many of the “big name” aspect as we had last month. Still, there’s a number of games coming out this month that should cover a variety of interests and platforms. Xbox 360 owners will finally be able to drop in as Titanfall finally hits store shelves after a couple of short delays. The Elder Scrolls Online finally opens its doors this month on PC for those people looking to jump back into that universe or if you’re in need of a fix after Skyrim. April also sees Trials Fusion, LEGO The Hobbit and The Amazing Spider Man 2 hit store shelves to name a few.

The complete release list for April can be found after the jump…
