Took down Mundus, found every item hidden in the levels, perfected your stylish combos and now eagerly awaiting for something else to sink your teeth into? Capcom and Ninja Theory to the rescue.
The long-awaited Bloody Palace is on its way next week to consoles with a release scheduled for Feb 19 (PS3) and Feb 20. Better yet? This is a completely free update so put your wallet away.
What is the Bloody Palace? A fan favorite from past games, it challenges the player to complete 100 levels of enemies and bosses. This survival gauntlet is similar to what Mortal Kombat (2011) and Darksiders II (the Crucible) put out I would think. The only rule here is that you need to beat the game at least once before you gain access which makes sense due to the new moves and upgrades acquired during the campaign.
Lastly, a patch is also getting rolled out on the same day to fix and address some feedback they’ve received. For the full patch notes, head on over to the Capcom Unity site here.
No word yet on when Vergil’s Downfall is scheduled to hit but last I heard they were aiming for the end of February so there’s still hope. Also, I should point out that this update is aimed squarely on consoles. At the time of this post, Capcom hasn’t announced this for PC yet. Recently, I wrapped up my initial play through of the game and am planning to roll out my thoughts on the game as a whole. So keep on the lookout for that.
