For those of you dying to get your hands on the Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable title Fez, well, you may not have to wait much longer.
In a post-2012 state of the union post on the Polytron site, Fez designer and now sole employee of Polytron, Phil Fish revealed that he is planning to port the title over to other platforms in 2013. The main reason? Well, besides being emailed/contacted constantly to bring Fez to other platforms, I’d imagine it may have something to do with how certain platforms handle the patching process. What a mess that was, right?
So what else does Polytron have planned for the new year? Well, the new bite was a bit cryptic overall by Fish did mention that he and Disasterpiece have something special planned with the soundtrack and it would seem he’s thinking about opening a US branch of the company. He does have a few games in the pipeline while also letting everyone know that he wouldn’t mind designing things outside of the video game space.
One thing is for sure, Polytron is definitely staying active in 2013. For those of you waiting for your Fez fix, your time is almost here.
