Assassin’s Creed Anthology Announced And Exclusive To EMEA

I made mention on Tuesday about a rumored super edition of Assassin’s Creed containing all 5 games and all DLC for them.  Well, as of yesterday, the rumors were confirmed true by Ubisoft although with one big asterisk.  This bundle is only coming to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region for now.

So, just what is in this massive collection?  The main draw would be getting access to all 5 games starting with the very first game in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood – The Da Vinci Edition, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – The Ottoman Edition, all the way to the recently released Assassin’s Creed III.  On top of that, each piece of DLC for the games will also be available in this package, so you’ll be getting expansion packs like The Da Vinci Disappearance and Bonfire of the Vanities, to multiplayer DLC, and also the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed III.  If that’s still not enough savings and content for you, the bundle will also contain 5 lithographs from each of the 5 games and an exclusive steelbook case.

While Ubisoft hasn’t announced it’s release in North America, they’re not ruling it out completely, only saying that it isn’t confirmed for now.  This does leave the door open for an eventual release in my opinion and honestly, why wouldn’t they?  It’s quite a big market that I’m sure they’d love to tap into.  If you feel like reliving memories with Ezio, Desmond, and the rest of the crew, the collection can be had at the end of November for 150 Euro or £119.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
