Well, apparently it’s rumor week here on Gamer Crash because I’ve got another high-profile one for you today involving a small and mostly unknown game from Ubisoft. Ok, who am I kidding, you saw the article title.
I’ve speculated on this in the past and while this can’t be confirmed quite yet, it appears that Assassin’s Creed III will be taking place in Paris on July 1789. A date many of you will recognize as the French Revolution. Out of all my guesses, Paris, France was easily at the top of my list. I hope this is true because I’m ready to take a leap of faith off of the Eiffel Tower and interact with some major historical figured like Louis XVI, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Maximilien Robespierre. The possibilities!
Yes, it goes without saying that if this indeed just some devious fan art I’m going to be crushed. Ubisoft did mention something going down in May relating to the Assassin’s franchise so it looks like we won’t get an answer till then.
