Nintendo 3DS Reveals Price, Date and Launch Games

To me, the Nintendo 3DS is a mind-boggling piece of hardware.  Being able to witness 3D without the need for special glasses is just something I don’t think I can comprehend.  Remember the days when 3D glasses had one lens blue and the other red?  Yeah, we’re pretty far off from those olden days.  I’m really intrigued by the 3DS for multiple reasons including its ability to feature games with close to current console level graphics, the level of third-party support for it, and even it’s ability to play movies and take pictures in 3D, but most importantly the ability to choose from normal 2D to 3D without the need to wear anything on your face.

Last week, Nintendo revealed more crucial details for the 3DS.  It’s going to release here in the US on March 27 for $250.  Now I’m not here to debate the price.  I’ll leave that for you to decide if it’s worth it or not, but still, with the amount of tech in this thing and the support behind it, it’s pretty hard to turn away.  Also, here’s the confirmed launch day release games.  We’ve got some gems on it for sure.  There’s also a ton of great games coming out later this year as well so don’t worry.  This includes Ocarina of Time 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, a new Mario Kart, and Kid Icarus among others.
