I honestly never thought I’d be writing about Left 4 Dead 2 again as it released all the way back in 2009, but here we are.  I don’t mind one bit as the game was extremely fun especially with other people so it’s great that Valve is still churning out new material for it.  With that said, lets take a look at what’s shambling out later this month, shall we?

Cold Stream is a much bigger DLC chunk then we’ve gotten in the past.  The bulk of it involves a fan made campaign with 4 chapters but the real draw of this pack will be the retooled Left 4 Dead campaigns, Death Toll, Dead Air, Blood Harvest, and Crash Course.  If you’ve played the 2 Evil Eyes community campaign then you already know the author’s work.  I’ve been hearing that a new melee weapon is being included in the pack but as of right now it’s undocumented so I can’t comment for sure.

If you need more zombie killing content, well, you won’t have to wait too much longer.  Cold Stream hits PC, Mac, and Xbox 360 on July 24.
