*UPDATE!* Thanks to you guys, the gameplay trailer unlocked this morning.  I’ve updated the article below with the full length trailer.  Just a warning, you may need to change your pants after…it’s that good.

If you’ve been craving to see some tomahawk action in the mid 1700′s featuring an assassin well…you’re going to have to wait a bit longer.  To tease the fans into a fervor, Ubisoft has decided to release a teaser gameplay trailer featuring Connor from the upcoming and highly anticipated title, Assassin’s Creed III.  They’re hoping that this will get you amped up enough to venture over to Facebook to unlock the full length video.

In the trailer we see Connor stalking his British Soldier prey in a very impressive gameplay sequence.  The new modified Anvil next engine looks fantastic and I’m really liking how the hidden blade now seems to pivot on a hinge.  It’s my first look at the game in motion and I’m very excited to see what lies in store for the actual trailer.

At the time of this writing, the page is just over 25% of it’s total asking number of 1,776,000 posts, tweets, and shares.  So all in all, a very clever viral marketing effort.
